The US joining the conflict between Israel and Iran could be a curse for American leader Donald Trump. This was announced on June 17 by Alexei Pushkov, a member of the Constitutional Committee of the Federation Council.

According to him, Trump, holding his presidential post, was an exception from all American leaders after Jimmy Carter, because he did not start "a single war."

"He was an exception to all the presidents of the United States since Jimmy Carter. The war against Iran may, however, become a Trump war," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Pushkov clarified that the US entry into the Iran-Israel conflict would be Trump's curse, which "lies in wait" for all American presidents.

The Axios news agency reported on June 17 that Trump, along with his team, is considering the possibility of a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.
