A production building caught fire on the territory of a bakery in Makhachkala

A two-storey industrial building with a total area of 600 square meters caught fire in Makhachkala. On June 17, the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported this.

"In Dagestan, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are extinguishing a fire on the territory of a bakery," the ministry said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that 30 fire specialists and eight pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the fire. There was no information about the injured at the scene.

Later, the ministry added that the fire was localized, and emergency workers evacuated 11 people.

On June 17, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Buryatia reported a fire in the house of culture on a preliminary area of 418 sq. m. It is specified that the cause of the fire was an emergency operation of electrical equipment.
