The volume of contracts for SPIEF 2025 will reach 7.5 trillion

The amount of contracts concluded for SPIEF 2025 may amount to 7.5 trillion rubles, experts interviewed by Izvestia estimated. For comparison, a year earlier the total cost was about 6.4 trillion, which is almost 20% less.
This is due to the expansion of international activities, as well as closer interaction between the subjects of the country, explained Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Financial Control, Analysis and Audit of the Main Control Department of the Moscow Russian University of Economics. Plekhanova Yulia Kovalenko.
"The agreements are likely to be related to the development of Russian exports, including energy and weapons. The most productive contractual obligations at the end of the forum are usually related to high—tech services that the Russian Federation provides to other countries, such as the construction of nuclear power plants, maintenance of modern weapons systems, and educational services," said independent expert Andrei Barkhota.
In addition, Finam believes that among the key deals will be projects in the areas of technological sovereignty, import substitution, digitalization of the economy, modernization of infrastructure and development of cooperation with partners in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
"While SPIEF 2024 focused on finding growth points within the developing multipolar system, SPIEF 2025 focuses on common values such as trust, equality, transparency, as the foundation for building new international relations in the context of global fragmentation," said Vladimir Chernov, analyst at Freedom Finance Global.
