- A court in Argentina has allowed former President Kirchner to serve a six-year term at home.

An Argentine court has allowed former President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner to serve a six-year sentence at home. This was reported on June 17 by TN TV channel with reference to the judge's decision.
"Thus, the former president began serving her 6-year sentence in a traffic accident case in her daughter Florence's apartment in the Porteño district of the city of Constitution, and she will need to wear an electronic ankle bracelet," the TV channel said.
It is specified that the ex-president will need to provide a list of people, including family members, who will visit the apartment where she is located.
On June 10, the Argentine Supreme Court upheld Kirchner's sentence of six years in prison and a lifetime ban from holding public office. In 2022, she was sentenced to six years in prison in a corruption case, but did not serve any time, because at that time she was the current vice president of Argentina.
