Iran has denied information about the assassination of ex-President Ahmadinejad.

Reports of the assassination of Iranian ex-President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are unreliable. This was reported by the IRNA news agency on June 17, citing the office of the former head of state.
"The assassination of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad does not correspond to reality," the newspaper said in a Telegram channel message.
On the same day, the representative of the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, reported that at least 120 women and children were injured as a result of attacks by the Israeli armed forces on Iran.
