During the eight years of operation of the Smart City pavilion at VDNH, it has been visited by more than a million people. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina, recalling that the project introduces residents and guests of the capital to the key digital projects of the city.

"This year, the pavilion receives an average of about 20,000 guests per month, which is a quarter more than in 2024. Many people are happy to participate in online events.: They attend master classes, programming classes, and also attend full-time courses in 3D modeling, robotics, and other areas," Sergunina said.

The Smart City exhibition includes eight thematic zones dedicated to different areas of life in the capital. In particular, you can find out why Moscow needs a digital twin, how AI helps doctors, and where navigators get information about traffic congestion in the capital.

One of the largest spaces is "Moscow is more than a city". Projects in such areas as culture, business and tourism are presented there. From another area, you can take a virtual trip to the past — for example, to see what the Northern River Station, Tverskaya Street and VDNKH were like.

Last year, the exhibition "Digital Technologies of Moscow: towards the 30th anniversary of the Runet" opened in the pavilion. At the exhibition, both children and adults can get acquainted with an interactive time feed dedicated to the history of digitalization of the capital, learn about modern urban online services and try their hand at computer games that were popular 30 years ago.

According to the Moscow Department of Information Technology, there are currently 77 different facilities and stands in the pavilion. Admission to the Smart City is free.
