The State Duma approved a change in the payment terms for housing and communal services from the 10th to the 15th of the month

Deputies of the State Duma adopted in the second and third readings a law that provides for changing the deadline for payment for housing and communal services from the 10th to the 15th of each month. The relevant document was published on the website of the lower house of the Russian parliament on June 17.

"Payment for housing and utilities is made monthly until the 15th day of the month following the expired month," the text of the law says.

In addition, the deadline for submitting payment documents, on the basis of which payments for housing and utilities are made, will be postponed from the first to the fifth day of the month.

Thus, lawmakers want to make payment for housing and communal services more convenient, since many Russians receive their salaries on the 12th or 15th, and the initiative will avoid delays, adds "Газета.Ru ".
