Almost 40 people have contracted tick-borne infections in Stavropol

In the Stavropol Territory, 39 people became infected with tick-borne infections. This is reported by the StavropolMedia news agency with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.

Over the past week, 268 people have contacted doctors. Compared to last week, the number of people bitten has decreased.

Rospotrebnadzor noted that seven patients were diagnosed with Crimean hemorrhagic fever, and 32 more people contracted borreliosis. Residents of the region are advised to use closed clothing and acaricidal agents when going out into nature.

The Sverdlovsk region became the leader in the number of victims of tick bites in June 2025. About 22.3 thousand medical visits were recorded in the region. There are also many victims in the Kemerovo, Kirov, Tomsk and Chelyabinsk regions.
