Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that the cold snap will come to Moscow on Thursday. He announced this in his Telegram channel on Tuesday, June 17.

According to him, the temperature will not exceed +16...+18 degrees in the afternoon, and on Friday morning it will drop to +10 ...+12 degrees. The average daily temperature in the capital will be about 14 degrees with a norm of 18 degrees.

Short-term rains, gusty north wind and low atmospheric pressure are expected. It will be 14-16 units below the norm, according to the Moscow City News agency.

Leus noted that the cyclone's influence will weaken on Saturday, light precipitation is possible on Sunday, and daytime temperatures will rise to 20 degrees, writes RIAMO. The weather will return to normal in the middle of next week, but the warming will be short-lived.

Earlier in the day, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, predicted rains and cold snap in the European part of Russia. According to him, it is expected that the temperature will be below the climatic norm by 1-3 degrees, notes 360.ru .

On June 16, Shuvalov warned of a cold snap in Moscow by the end of the week. Signs of warming to +30 degrees are expected no earlier than the very end of the month.
