A two-year-old boy drowned in a river in the Turukhansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the incident.

The incident occurred in the village of Kellogg. According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, on June 12, the boy left the house and did not return. The child's disappearance was noticed by his grandmother, who is the guardian, and she contacted law enforcement agencies. The next day, the child's body was found in the Yelogui River, his shoes were on the shore.

The prosecutor's office is establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy.

In the Perm Region, an eight-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl drowned in the Sylva River. They were on the beach without adult supervision.
