- The Russian Embassy in Britain called the shredded new package of anti-Russian sanctions

The new package of UK anti-Russian sanctions, despite London's pathos in the statements preceding it, turned out to be the final shredding list. This was announced on June 17 at the Russian Embassy in London.
"In connection with the meeting of the Group of Seven in Kananaskis, Canada, the British authorities, with feigned and inappropriate pathos, announced the next tranche of 'anti—Russian sanctions,'" RIA Novosti quoted the Russian diplomatic mission as saying.
It is noted that Britain's new sanctions lists have been shredded, and they include little-known names and companies. The authors of these lists also make spelling mistakes.
In addition, the diplomats stressed that the UK sanctions have no impact on the Russian economy.
Earlier that day, the UK expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list, adding 10 individuals and 20 vessels allegedly linked to Russia. In particular, two citizens of the Russian Federation, a citizen of Ukraine, and a citizen of Poland were sanctioned.
