Up to 2.4 billion rubles will be allocated for the repair of the embankment of the Obvodny Canal in St. Petersburg.

In St. Petersburg, they announced the search for a contractor for the overhaul of the embankment of the Obvodny Canal. This is reported by the 78 TV channel with reference to the documentation of the relevant auction posted on the public procurement portal.

The maximum value of the contract with the future contractor will be 2.4 billion rubles. He will have to carry out dismantling and general construction work, deepen the bottom, and restore the granite bollards of the fence.

The project also provides for the repair of the embankment wall, renovation of the road surface and landscaping. The TV channel clarifies that the list of duties of the contractor includes ecomonitoring with compensation for damage in case harm is caused to aquatic biological resources.

The day before, on June 16, the competition to find a contractor was announced by St. Petersburg GBU Mostotrest. The results will be announced on July 7. It is planned to complete the overhaul of the embankment by November 17, 2027.
