The eruption of the Levotobi volcano in Indonesia threw a colossal column of ash into the sky, after which the authorities raised the danger level to the highest. This was reported on June 17 by the Daily Mail.

"The 1584-meter—high Levotobi Laki-Laki volcano with two peaks erupted on the tourist island of Flores at 17:35 local time," the material says, citing the local volcanology agency.

It is emphasized that the volcano released about 10 km of thick gray clouds into the atmosphere. The danger level during the Levotobi eruption has been raised to the highest.

The authorities urged tourists and locals to refrain from visiting the area of the volcanic eruption.

On June 8, as a result of the eruption of the Fuego volcano in Guatemala, the evacuation of residents was announced. As noted in the social network X (ex. Twitter) blogger Rafael Capaco, the authorities are conducting a mass evacuation of the population due to the intense release of lava.
