In the city of Likino-Dulevo in the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky gorokrug of the Moscow region, dismantling works have been completed at the Rusich stadium, where a large-scale reconstruction is underway. This was announced by the press service of the regional Ministry of the construction complex on Tuesday, June 17.
"35 workers and nine pieces of equipment are involved at the site. The contractor has completed the dismantling work and has begun the geodetic breakdown of the contours of the pits and the installation of the formwork," the agency said in a statement.
The reconstruction project provides for the construction of a playing field with a synthetic coating and a cooling system, the construction of a grandstand for 1,000 seats, as well as an administrative building and auxiliary facilities. In addition, it is planned to create a platform for long and high jumps.
According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, after the reconstruction, the stadium will become a year-round arena where you can practice football, hockey, and athletics. All the necessary infrastructure for this will be provided, the Ministry of Construction says.
The renovated Rusich Stadium is scheduled to be completed and commissioned in 2026.
Last fall, the Start Stadium, located in Noginsk, was opened in the Moscow region after reconstruction. The area of the facility is almost 10.5 thousand square meters. m.
