Quarantine was introduced in the forests of Transbaikalia due to a dangerous pest

Quarantine was established in three forestry districts of the Trans-Baikal Territory in connection with the discovery of a black pine barbel. The export of wood and felling residues is prohibited in the territories.

The pest was found in the Maletinsky, Balyaginsky and Katangarsky forestry districts in the Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky district. According to the ChitaMedia news agency, the total area of the quarantine territory is 28.7 thousand hectares.

The movement of timber products without quarantine certificates is prohibited. However, it is allowed to carry out urgent sanitary cleaning and export of products if there is a certificate from the Rosselkhoznadzor.

At the end of April, a batch of infected peppers was detected in Krasnoyarsk. A virus of brown wrinkling of tomato fruits was found in the consignment.
