Knights of Childhood charity project launched in Russia

The Knights of Childhood charity project has been launched in Russia, aimed at drawing attention to children's problems. It is conducted by the Russian Children's Fund.
It is specified that all the activities of the project will be aimed at the development of important moral guidelines and the popularization of charity.
For the same purposes, the Conscience Award is awarded. Since its establishment last year, more than half of Russia's regions have participated in it. Applications from new participants have now been accepted.
"Our task is to make the Conscience Award one of the ten most prestigious and well—known public awards in our country," said Dmitry Likhanov, President of the International Association of Children's Foundations.
The award will be presented in seven categories, including: "Mercy and Care", "Charity", "Spiritual Protection", "In the name of peace and life" and "Art for the sake of goodness". The award ceremony will take place in mid-October in Moscow.
On May 12, Channel Five reported that the charity projects "Day of Good Deeds" and "Day of the Angel" had helped thousands of people. They are aimed at supporting sick children and toddlers left without parental care.
