A man died in a fire in an apartment building in Olenegorsk.

In the city of Olenegorsk in the Murmansk region, as a result of a fire in a residential apartment building, one person was killed and one injured. This is reported by the regional office for Public Health and Safety.

The fire occurred on Tuesday morning, June 17, on the first floor of the house on Mira Street, 8. As a result, the studio kitchen with an area of 10 square meters burned down, the apartment and the entrance were blackened.

According to the Bi-port news agency, one person was killed and another person was injured. Firefighters evacuated five people from the building, including a child.

A procedural check has been organized on the fact of the incident. Its progress and results are under the control of the prosecutor's office, the agency reports.
