Frosts of up to -2 degrees were predicted in Transbaikalia

Forecasters predicted frosts of up to -2 degrees for two days in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Gardeners and agricultural producers are advised to protect their crops.
On the afternoon of June 18, rains with thunderstorms and wind strengthening up to 20 m/s are expected in the region. The maximum daytime air temperature will be +22 degrees. On June 19, the temperature will drop to -2 degrees at night. This is reported by the ChitaMedia news agency.
Frosts are also expected on June 20. The Ministry of Emergency Situations warns that unprotected crops may die due to a decrease in temperature. In addition, the risk of household fires increases due to the use of heating equipment.
