VTB provided assistance to the Balashikha children's cancer clinic

VTB held an event as part of its own charity program "A World without Tears" at the Moscow Regional Oncological Dispensary in Balashikha, the bank's press service said.
The bank has provided the medical facility with equipment for multi—day chemotherapy, which makes treatment more comfortable for patients - they can walk freely and even walk outside. In addition, the children watched a play on financial literacy with the participation of the VTB IT ambassador and the heroes of "Good Night kids!".
"In conditions of long-term treatment, it is especially important to maintain a positive attitude of children and parents. The "World without Tears" program helps to create just such moments. Modern equipment and medical support are just one side of the concern. The other is children's performances, in which kids discover the world of knowledge, begin to dream, and focus on what lies ahead of them: recovery and a lifetime full of opportunities," commented Natalia Kochneva, Senior Vice President of VTB.
"Participation in the World Without Tears program helps us improve both the treatment processes and the emotional background of patients and their families. We have received the necessary equipment to carry out multi-day chemotherapy. It simplifies the procedure for the child, allows him to leave the room and go for a walk. When children face difficult treatment, it is especially important to surround them with care, warmth and attention. Happy holidays allow them to escape from hospital routine, give them vivid memories," said Nikolai Urazovsky, Deputy Chief physician of the Moscow Regional Oncological Dispensary.
The event in Balashikha is part of the World Without Tears medical charity program, in which VTB buys the necessary equipment for children's hospitals and departments and conducts educational performances on financial literacy with gifts for children. In 2025, the program will cover 15 regions of the country. Over the 22 years of the "World without Tears" program, 218 hospitals in 80 regions of Russia have received assistance.
