The new car brand iCaur will appear in Russia

The new Chinese car brand iCaur will be introduced to the Russian market in 2026. This is stated in the message of the company's press service, which was received by Izvestia on June 17.

Over the next three years, the iCaur brand will be represented in more than 100 countries around the world. Russia is among the top ten priority markets, the company said. The iCaur model range includes electric crossovers (BEVs) and sequential hybrids (REEVS).

The brand's press service did not disclose other details, only shared photos of the cars. In China, they are known as iCar, and in a number of markets they are sold under the more familiar brands Chery and Jaecoo. The fact that iCar models are planned to be introduced to the Russian market was previously announced by Nikolai Ivanov, director of the New Cars Department at Rolf.

The iCar brand was launched in the spring of 2023. Its crossovers are distinguished by angular body shapes and off-road styling.

AvtoVAZ announced the launch of a new Russian commercial vehicle brand SKM on March 16. Passenger and all-metal vans, as well as chassis with an open cargo platform, will be produced under this brand.
