VTB Broker has switched to fully domestic software

VTB My Investments has switched to a digital platform based solely on Russian technological solutions.

According to the bank's press service, this decision is aimed at strengthening technological independence and increasing the stability and flexibility of the brokerage infrastructure. Our proprietary architecture allows us to quickly develop functionality and create solutions that meet the needs of Russian investors, bypassing the limitations of foreign boxed products.

"The technical core of the system does not contain any foreign components. This eliminates the risks associated with the revocation or termination of licenses, and ensures the uninterrupted development of the service within the Russian jurisdiction," the bank noted.

According to Andrey Yatskov, Senior Vice President and Head of VTB's Brokerage Services Department, extensive work has been done: most solutions have been developed from scratch based on modern technologies. "This is a unique experience that can be scaled up to other stock market participants in the future," he said.

The bank stressed that the transition to domestic software is part of VTB's long—term digital strategy. In the future, it is planned to develop new investment products and introduce next-generation services based on the new platform.
