At least 120 women and children were injured as a result of Israeli military strikes on Iran. This was announced on June 17 by the official representative of the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani.
"The number of injured women and children has exceeded 100 and reached 120," the ISNA news agency quoted her as saying on the Telegram channel.
A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic announced on June 16 that 17 people were killed and 46 injured due to Israeli strikes on the north of Tehran on June 15.
The Mehr news agency reported on June 16 that three rescue team members were killed in a strike by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their car in Tehran. According to the press service, at that moment rescuers were carrying out humanitarian work and providing assistance to the victims.
Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
