In Mordovia, a 16-year-old girl was crushed to death by a soccer goal

In the Krasnoslobodsky district of the Republic of Mordovia, a 16-year-old girl was crushed to death by a soccer goal. This was reported on Tuesday, June 17, in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

According to the agency, on June 13, a 16-year-old girl in the village of Sivin, Krasnoslobodsky district, took up the crossbar of a football goal. The metal structure, not properly attached to the ground, fell down, crushing the girl.

The victim was hospitalized, where she died from her injuries. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").

The day before, it was reported that two 15-year-old teenagers died while fishing in a pond in the Dyatkovsky district of the Bryansk region, previously due to a collapse of wet soil.
