- The political scientist spoke about the G7's indifference to peace in Ukraine and the Middle East

The G7 countries, which include the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan, are not interested in resolving conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East and intend to support escalation. Rafael Ordukhanyan, an American political scientist, shared this conviction with Izvestia on June 17.
"They are interested in <conflicts>. For them, this is a way out of the internal crisis that they are all in now. In this situation, the strategic interests of the United States and Europe coincide, they cannot solve the problems they face," the political scientist said.
In his opinion, the discussion of pressing social issues in the United States and Europe has recently been replaced by military rhetoric.
"In fact, there is no mention of unemployment, inflation, what is happening in industry now, or anything related to the banking sector. That's exactly what they don't want to talk about. And how to do it? We need to give a new agenda. And so they give it," Ordukhanyan summed up.
On June 11, a military expert, retired colonel Viktor Litovkin, ruled out the impact of a reduction in US aid on supplies to Kiev from the EU. He noted that the United States is the largest investor in the Ukrainian conflict, however, in the event of a reduction in Kiev's financing, their help will continue to come from other Western countries.
