The IDF operation and strikes on Iranian territory will not end until the threats of Tehran's nuclear program and rocket attacks are eliminated. The Times of Israel wrote about this on June 17, citing statements by the Israeli military.

According to the IDF, the operation is in full swing and its goal is to eliminate the "existential threat" of Iran's nuclear program and its missile system.

"We continue to strike at nuclear targets in order to deepen the achievement, in accordance with the plan and at a time convenient for us," said Major General Oded Basyuk, head of the operational directorate of the Israeli army.

At the same time, Basyuk added that Israel is attacking the Iranian leadership, not civilians.

Earlier in the day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press service reported that the country's Air Force had carried out several large-scale strikes on Iranian military installations during the past night. It was clarified that the targets of the attacks were dozens of launchers and warehouses for surface–to-surface missiles.
