The Russian government drew attention to the supply of Renault vehicles to Ukraine

If Renault expresses a desire to return to the Russian market, the Russian government, when making a decision, will take into account the supply of its equipment to Ukraine by the French company. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov in an interview with RBC.

"Renault supplies equipment to Ukraine as a whole — we know and see this. And when statements come from public sources, we will definitely take this criterion into account," Manturov said, answering a question about the possibility of not allowing car companies to enter the Russian market.

He noted that the French automaker had interrupted all chains related to cooperative supplies and had not provided any assistance in this regard in relation to AvtoVAZ.

"When the agreement on the company's withdrawal from capital and AVTOVAZ was signed, an option for six years was signed. So far, everything is going to ensure that they do not have the opportunity to implement it," the First Deputy Prime Minister said.

Earlier, France Info radio, citing sources, reported that Renault would build a factory for the production of drones in Ukraine. The production of drones for the Ukrainian army is planned to be organized jointly with a small French defense company at a distance from the front line.
