Russians who were unable to leave the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the temporary closure of Iran's airspace are being flown out of Dubai on one flight per day. A tourist from Voronezh told Izvestia about this on June 17.

"Today there was only one flight at ten o'clock, as we understood. <...> A single flight per day is some kind of lawlessness," she shared.

The woman complained about organizational problems with the accommodation and said that the tour operator did not provide any explanations about the current situation. According to her, customers have to find out all the information about expected departures on their own.

"We were evicted from the hotel, brought from another emirate, where we lived on the first line, by the sea, and we had everything inclusive. Now we are in a stone jungle. There is simply nowhere to go out, and there is no need," the tourist summed up.

On June 15, it became known that about 2 thousand Russian citizens could not fly out of the UAE due to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. It is specified that Russian citizens are waiting for departure to the Russian Federation, staying in hotels.

Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
