Several residential buildings were destroyed, and another 15 were damaged as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of the village of Prigorodny Slobodka in the Kursk region. Footage from the site of the attack on June 17 was shown by Izvestia.

"Presumably, a NATO-made HIMARS missile flew here. Several houses were destroyed, and a dozen more were damaged," Igor Kaporikov, a correspondent for Izvestia, said.

As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack, no one was injured. According to a local resident, she had to hide behind a brick wall in the bathroom during the shelling.

Ekaterina Pisennaya, Acting Minister of Health of the Kursk Region, reported on June 11 that as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the Lgovsky and Rylsky districts, two paramedic obstetric stations (FAP) were seriously damaged. According to her, there were no casualties as a result of the attack by militants of the Kiev regime.
