The death toll from the collapse of an outrigger site at a residential complex in Tyumen has increased to three people. This was reported on June 17 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tyumen region.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that two workers died on the spot. According to the agency, one of the victims was on the outrigger platform, the second was below.

"In addition, three more employees were hospitalized in a medical facility in Tyumen, where one, despite the efforts of doctors, died," the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tyumen region says.

It is specified that all necessary assistance is being provided to the two victims.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact. At the moment, investigators are examining the scene, interrogating the company's employees and appointing forensic medical examinations to clarify the circumstances.

On June 5, it became known that scaffolding collapsed on Zagorodny Prospekt in St. Petersburg — the structure collapsed directly onto the sidewalk, narrowly missing passersby. It was noted that the elements of the scaffolding fell from the facade of one of the buildings. At that time, people were walking along the street, no one was injured.
