- The political scientist called Trump's withdrawal from the G7 summit a signal of dissatisfaction with European politics.

The early departure of US President Donald Trump from the G7 summit signals his dissatisfaction with the policies of European countries. Pavel Feldman, Candidate of Political Sciences, Professor at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, stated this in an interview with Izvestia on June 17.
According to the expert, the leaders of the G7 EU countries have opposite views compared to the new administration in Washington, which adheres to liberal globalism.
"The US president is tired of listening to their tirades about the need to contain Russia and provide military assistance to Ukraine. For Donald Trump, the G7 format is no longer of any interest, since the positions of the participants in this organization are well known to him," he said.
Feldman also noted that Trump's recent meetings with leaders such as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz had not brought him satisfaction. As the United States seeks to strengthen ties with the dynamically developing countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the departure of the American leader highlights the deepening rift in the ranks of the collective West.
"Over time, this split will only deepen," the source stressed.
On the same day, Trump left the G7 summit ahead of schedule and called Macron an "attention seeker." It is clarified that the French president mistakenly stated that the US president left the event in order to return to Washington to work on a "cease-fire" between Israel and Iran. However, the American leader said that this statement is incorrect.
