Erdogan invited Trump to resume nuclear talks with Iran in Istanbul

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited his American counterpart Donald Trump to continue nuclear talks with Iran in Istanbul. This was announced by the Hurriyet newspaper on June 17, citing sources.
"Turkey's main goal is to restore negotiations on the nuclear program. To do this, President Erdogan stepped in. This proposal became the main agenda of Erdogan's talks with US President Trump and Iranian President [Masoud]. Peseshkian," the publication says.
The publication also claims that when Erdogan first proposed to Trump to organize a meeting for the two countries in Istanbul in order to find a solution, the US leader said that "his plane is ready."
The day before, Peseshkian said that the state would continue negotiations with the United States only if Israel's attacks stopped. He also noted that during the negotiations on the nuclear program, the United States promised Iran that Israel would not take any action without their permission.
