Shvabe Holding of Rostec State Corporation has signed a contract with the State Border Committee of Belarus for the supply of a batch of small arms sights. This is reported on the official website of the company.

"We are systematically developing business relations with Belarusian organizations and expanding cooperation with the State Border Committee. This helps to strengthen the borders of the Union state. Shvabe works with leading enterprises of the Republic of Belarus and supplies various products, the export of which has increased almost fivefold over the past five years," said Vadim Kalyugin, General Director of Shvabe, member of the Bureau of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia.

Deliveries are planned for 2025-2026 and are aimed at strengthening the protection of the state border of Belarus. The contract was signed within the framework of the MILEX-2025 International Exhibition of Weapons and Military Equipment in Minsk, where Shvabe presented for the first time a new line of sights for small arms.

It is specified that Shvabe actively cooperates with Belarusian departments and industrial enterprises: optoelectronic products, sighting equipment, medical devices and other equipment are exported from Russia. In turn, the holding's enterprises are modernizing production using Belarusian equipment.

Roman Polshakov, a correspondent for Izvestia, reported on May 22 that the Russian stands attracted the attention of foreign delegations at the MILEX 2025 arms and military equipment exhibition, which was held in Minsk. According to an employee of the Kalashnikov concern, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles of the latest generation are capable of performing combat missions completely autonomously, without operator involvement. The new system is guided not by coordinates, but by the video stream.
