Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu arrived on June 17 on an official visit to Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), on special instructions from Russian Leader Vladimir Putin. During the trip, he is scheduled to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
"Sergei Shoigu arrived in Pyongyang on special instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin to hold talks with the DPRK leadership as part of the implementation of agreements reached during his last visit on June 4," TASS quoted the press service of the Russian Security Council.
