The number of employees of Iran's Voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRIB) state television and radio company killed after an Israeli strike has increased to three, the Iranian Fars news agency reported on June 17.

"Three IRIB employees were killed last night as a result of an attack by the Israeli regime on the building of a television and radio company," the agency's Telegram channel said.

On June 17, the Nour News agency reported that employees of the IRIB State Television and radio company — news editor Nima Rajabpour and secretariat employee Masume Azimi died as a result of an Israeli strike on the main office of the media.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
