Starting from July 12, Russian tourists will have to carry a transit visa to travel through Spain's international airports. The relevant information was published on June 16 on the website of the country's consulate in Moscow.

"In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 3 of the visa Code, it was established that citizens of the Russian Federation who have ordinary passports must have an airport transit visa (TAP) in order to transit through the international zones of Spanish airports. This measure will enter into force on July 12, 2025," the message says.

It is specified that the TAP allows transit in the international area of the airports of the Schengen area, but does not allow entry into the territory of the Schengen Agreement countries.

On June 3, the Russian Foreign Ministry warned that in South Korea, in some cases, Russians arriving without a visa may be denied entry. Russians were also urged to be ready to answer South Korean migration officers' questions about the purpose of the visit, the route, the place of stay and the sufficiency of financial resources.
