Russian servicemen told about the liberation of Petrovsky in the DPR

The stormtroopers of the 80th tank Regiment of the Center group of forces told the details about the liberation of the Petrovskoye settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the exit to the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

"The cleansing of Petrovsky has begun. <...> There was close combat, shooting. The enemy drove six pickups, six pickups were destroyed, then three MaxxPro arrived on the street, they were shot down with an RPG," said Alexander Ershov, a soldier of the assault unit of the 80th Tank Regiment.

According to him, the command made adjustments to the attack aircraft using unmanned aerial vehicles. He noted that the Ukrainian militants had gained a foothold in the houses. The Russian military, in turn, bypassed them, waited for reinforcements and began to clear the buildings.

In addition, Maxim Feofanov, a motorcyclist of the assault squad's motorcycle group, said that five Russian servicemen on motorcycles with electronic warfare systems in backpacks broke into the territory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and distracted their FPV drones, thanks to which the stormtroopers were able to launch an offensive.

"In the beginning, we went through the forest belts, then we ran across open areas. Nevertheless, our beloved motorcyclists took the brunt of the attack, taking the brunt of the FPV drones," said Nail Vyalshin, a mechanic and driver of an infantry fighting vehicle.

According to him, the servicemen entered the territory of the settlement, after which they began to move in twos so as not to attract attention to themselves.

Oleg Belonogov, a rifleman of the assault unit of the 80th Tank Regiment, noted that only motorcycles were used during the offensive. The attack came from two sides. In total, 15 stormtroopers took part in the cleansing of the settlement.

After the settlement was cleared, the Russian Armed Forces were able to reach the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region, which became an important stage in creating a springboard for the development of the offensive in this direction.

On June 13, soldiers of the assault detachment of the 80th Guards Red Banner Tank Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division unfurled the Russian flag on the territory of the Petrovskoye settlement in the DPR. According to the military, their unit was one of the first to cross the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
