Durov criticized the French newspaper Le Monde for negative articles about Telegram

On June 16, Telegram founder Pavel Durov criticized the French newspaper Le Monde for publishing 40 negative articles about the messenger in just seven weeks after his arrest.
"In just seven weeks after my arrest in Paris, Le Monde published 40 negative articles about Telegram," the entrepreneur wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to him, the newspaper mostly ignored the edits made and did not request comments. He noted that none of the French media had written about the interview he gave to American journalist Tucker Carlson.
Durov added that such a media environment is "alarming."
The founder of the messenger on June 9, during an interview with Carlson, called his imprisonment in France a mistake. According to the entrepreneur, he was aware that the French authorities were concerned about Telegram's "alleged lack of response to court requests." However, as he later realized, this was not the case.
