The death toll of Red Crescent personnel in the IDF strike has increased to three


Three members of the rescue team were killed as a result of an attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their car in Tehran. This was reported by the Mehr news agency on June 16.
"The death toll of the Red Crescent staff in Tehran has increased to three people," the agency said in a statement.
According to the press service, during the IDF strike, rescuers carried out humanitarian work and provided assistance to the victims.
On the same day, the Red Crescent reported that the IDF had attacked a rescue team working in Tehran. At the same time, the Iranian Ministry of Health reported about 1.8 thousand casualties as a result of Israeli strikes. The head of the department, Mohammad Reza Zafargandi, added that there are 60 women among the victims. He clarified that 35 women and 10 children were killed as a result of Israeli strikes.
On June 13, Israel attacked Iran and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
