Denmark has sent four Voyagers drones from the American company Saildrone to monitor the waters of the Baltic and North Seas amid rising tensions in the region. This was reported by the Associated Press on June 16.

"The court will patrol the waters of Denmark and NATO in the Baltic and North Seas, where tensions remain at sea and, presumably, sabotage is taking place," the publication says.

It is noted that four unmanned robotic sailing vessels have been commissioned by the Danish Armed Forces for three months of operational testing.

According to the agency, the drones are equipped with radar, infrared and optical cameras, sonar and acoustic monitoring. They can work offline for several months.

On March 30, the Danish Ministry of Defense announced that the government had prepared a plan to strengthen the kingdom's fleet both urgently and in the long term. The ministry indicated that the government has offered to immediately purchase new equipment for monitoring the most important infrastructure located underwater and launch a program to develop drones and other unmanned devices.
