Clinical psychologist Daria Salnikova told how hugs and kisses affect health.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, June 16, the specialist said that a kiss involves about 40 or more nerve endings that positively affect the nervous system. Physiologically, kissing contributes to the prevention of vascular diseases and strokes. The situation is similar with hugs.

Salnikova pointed out that the human psyche is in constant psychomotor development, which is based on physical development.

"Kisses, hugs, and touches affect us tactilely, that is, on the skin, thereby developing the entire motor sphere," the psychologist emphasized.

According to her, this has a good effect not only on the physical, but also on the emotional sphere. The human motor sphere includes 7 sensory organs: sense of smell, touch, hearing, vision, tactility, vestibular apparatus and muscle memory.

On May 19, therapist Daria Umrik dispelled myths about hepatitis transmission through kissing. According to her, if a person has no damage to the mucous membrane, then the risk of hepatitis infection is minimal. Hepatitis B and C are not transmitted through handshakes, hugs or the use of common household items. 360.ru .

In April, neurologist Claudio Weisberg advised kissing to maintain good health. According to him, kissing strengthens friendships and family ties. This, in turn, leads to the release of endorphins, the hormone of joy and happiness. This form of intimacy also helps to reduce stress levels, writes NSN.

In August last year, Daria Salnikova said that a kiss in the generally accepted concept is a sign of trust, which is observed not only in the human community, but also in nature.

Earlier, psychologist Ekaterina Igonina stated that kissing can have a beneficial effect on their mental and physical condition. They contribute to the production of hormones of happiness and joy, such as dopamine, serotonin, endorphin and oxytocin, which have a beneficial effect on the psycho-emotional state and help reduce stress levels, notes Pravda.Ru .
