The Iranian Foreign Ministry called the attack on the building of Tehran's state Television and radio a crime

Hitting the building of Iran's state television and radio station is a crime. The UN Security Council needs to stop Israel's actions. This was announced on June 16 by the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagai.

"The attack on gosteleradio is another brutal crime (of Israel — Ed.) <...> The UN Security Council must fulfill its obligations to stop the aggression <...> the Israeli regime against the people of Iran," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Experts do not rule out Beijing's assistance to Tehran through Pakistan.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Israel had attacked the main building of Iran's state television, IRIB. As a result, no mass destruction was recorded.
