Russian scientists evacuated from Iran have arrived in Moscow. Elina Sidorenko, a member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC), Professor at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, told about this on June 16.

"Everyone kept their spirits up, no one was panicking, everyone was working constructively, they understood that we were solving the same problem. We were provided with very good, comfortable buses, which took us 10-12 hours to get to the border," she said.

Azerbaijan, in turn, provided Russian citizens with free hotels and meals. Sidorenko also noted that everything was organized at the highest level.

Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. This was followed by a wave of retaliatory strikes by Iran.
