The EAO will receive 2 billion rubles to improve the quality of life

The EAO will receive 2 billion rubles from budgets of all levels as part of the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The funds are intended for the comprehensive renovation of settlements. 1.4 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for these purposes.

According to IA EAOmedia, this is the most capital-intensive national project that is being implemented in the region. According to the head of the region, Maria Kostyuk, the task of the authorities is to use the funds to the maximum benefit for people. All work must be completed on time.

The largest events planned for this year are the completion of the construction of residential buildings for displaced persons of their dilapidated and dilapidated housing in Birobidzhan, Obluchye and the village of Volochaevka—2, as well as the repair of sections of regional roads in municipalities, landscaping yards and public spaces in Birobidzhan and autonomous regions.

Earlier, the houses on Parkovaya Street in Birobidzhan and in the village of Volochaevka-2 were commissioned in the EAO. They were built as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

In April, it was reported that in the Far Eastern Federal District over the past six years, more than 118.5 thousand people have been resettled from dilapidated and dilapidated housing to comfortable homes. In the EAO, 908 residents managed to get new apartments. The national project "Housing and Urban environment" is increasing the pace of development. In six regions of the country, including the EAO, there was an increase in the commissioning of multi-family housing. Thus, in the EAO, the rate of settlement has increased by more than 2.5 times. Since 2019, 16 109.5 square meters have been allocated in Birobidzhan. The work is carried out within the framework of the new national project "Infrastructure for Life".
