- Three fires on an area of 3.5 thousand hectares are active in the Khabarovsk Territory

After the weekend, three forest fires were recorded in the Khabarovsk Territory on a total area of 3,493 hectares. Two fires are active, their area exceeds 3,101 hectares. One fire was localized on an area of 392 hectares.
Such data was reported to IA AmurMedia by the regional Ministry of Forestry and Timber processing of the region. According to Deputy Minister Vladimir Kadykov, one fire in the air zone was localized during the first day, two more in the control zone continue to operate. They were recorded in the Okhotsk district and began due to dry thunderstorms.
Kadykov noted that due to low clouds and precipitation, it was impossible to send rescue teams to extinguish the fire. Fires are as far away from economic facilities as possible, they are located in hard-to-reach places. At a meeting of the regional emergency commission, it was decided to monitor the fires.
Currently, in the Khabarovsk Territory, the fire season is open in all 40 forestry districts of the region, and a special fire protection regime has been established in 12 municipal districts and districts. Fines for violations of fire safety regulations reach up to 2 million rubles.
Earlier, on June 11, it was reported that additional forces from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Amur Region and the Republic of Khakassia arrived in the Trans-Baikal Territory to help extinguish a large forest fire near the village of Burgen. Aviation is involved.
