Bones of Paleolithic people found in the Krasnoyarsk region


In Krasnoyarsk, archaeologists have discovered a Paleolithic site in the Solnechny microdistrict. At the site "Krasnoyarsk. The site of Badalyk-1" found stone tools and bone remains, the age of which is not less than 12 thousand years. This is reported in the GradVestnik Telegram channel.
According to Alexander Dubatov, deputy head of the Krasnoyarsk Geoarchaeology company, cited by the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, archaeological objects in the area were found for the first time in 2020 during exploration work.
Objects from the Upper Paleolithic period are mostly found, with later finds in the upper layers of the monument. The experts were most interested in the bronze belt plaque with a floral ornament. It belongs to the Middle Ages. That is, the specialist noted, the person who wore this plaque lived about 1 thousand years ago.
Excavations are being carried out in the area of Zarnichnaya Street on an area of about 3.5 thousand square meters. m. Work is being carried out before the construction of the Yenisei highway backup road. It should link the residential districts of Severny and Solnechny.
Earlier it was reported that representatives of the Russian Geographical Society discovered rock carvings in the Kan River basin in the Krasnoyarsk Territory during an expedition. The search for ancient drawings has been fruitlessly conducted for more than a hundred years.
