The operation of the mobile Internet was limited in Pskov region

In the Pskov Region, access to mobile Internet was temporarily restricted in some areas to ensure the security of critical facilities. This was announced on June 16 by the governor of the region Mikhail Vedernikov.

"The decision on the temporary restriction was made to ensure the safety of critical facilities located in the Pskov region," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to Vedernikov, similar measures have already been introduced in other regions of Russia, and the Pskov region was no exception. He also added that the population of the region was not warned about possible Internet restrictions due to the inability to prepare for such a situation.

In addition, the governor urged residents to treat such a step with understanding. Vedernikov stressed that the restrictions are temporary.

The Governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, announced on May 21 that the mobile Internet was temporarily turned off in the region for security reasons. According to him, this decision was made by the military.
