Changan Uni-V liftback to receive automatic and all-wheel drive in Russia

Changan company plans to expand the range of Uni-V liftback equipment in Russia, the model will receive an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. This was reported on June 16 by "Chinese Cars".

The new flagship version of the Changan Uni-V, which is expected to enter the Russian market in 2025, will be equipped with a power plant similar to that used on the Changan Uni-K crossover. This is a two-liter turbo engine, a classic eight-speed automatic and an all-wheel drive system. The SUV's engine develops 226 hp (380 Nm).

Currently, the Changan Uni-V is available in Russia only with a 1.5-liter turbo engine (181 hp; 300 Nm) and a 7-speed robot, and the drive is front-wheel drive anyway. Only three models of the brand are equipped with all—wheel drive in Russia - the CS95 and Uni-K crossovers, as well as the Hunter Plus pickup truck.

On April 21, it was reported that the Changan concern will start selling cars of its Deepal sub-brand in the Russian market this year. The first model of the new brand will be the Deepal S07 hybrid crossover. The brutal all-wheel drive crossover Deepal G318 is also expected to appear.
