In the Kherson region, two civilians were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 16 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"Over the past day, two residents of the Kherson region have been injured due to shelling by the Kiev regime," Saldo wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to him, a man born in 1996 received shrapnel wounds in the town of Alyoshka. A man born in 1956 was injured in Novaya Kakhovka. Both victims were hospitalized.
In addition, the governor added that due to the attack by Ukrainian militants in the region, two residential buildings were damaged, as well as several non-residential buildings were destroyed.
The day before, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that a civilian was injured as a result of a drone strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a car. It was noted that the woman was taken to the hospital, where she received the necessary medical care.
