Putin posthumously awarded Belgorod ambulance staff


Russian President Vladimir Putin posthumously awarded Belgorod ambulance workers Olga Lyubimova and Marina Parovyshnik who died in an accident. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The document notes that the health workers were awarded for their high professionalism and dedication in providing assistance in extreme conditions.
The victims worked as paramedics at the Razumensky post of the Southern Ambulance Substation in the Belgorod region.
The doctors died on February 7 as a result of an accident. A BMW crashed into a company car at high speed. The press service of the prosecutor's office of the Belgorod region reported that the driver drove at a forbidding traffic light, exceeding the speed limit. Later, Alexey Zhirov, the chief physician of the Belgorod Region ambulance station, indicated on his page on the VKontakte social network that the accident had claimed the lives of Lyubimova and Parovyshnik, and expressed his condolences to their families and friends.
