Ukraine has lost its richest ally after a reduction in the supply of military aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the United States. This was reported on June 16 by the British newspaper The Telegraph.

"Some of the programs from the [U.S. President Joe] Biden era are still under development. But the bitter result for Kiev is that it was abandoned by its most powerful ally," the article says.

According to the author of the article, the Ukrainian authorities have three options left: rely on the help of European countries, try to conclude an arms deal with Washington, or establish their own production of equipment and ammunition.

On June 15, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik spoke about the consequences of the conflict between Israel and Iran for Ukraine. According to him, Kiev is afraid that the West may turn away from them, switching to more serious problems, he adds. "Газета.Ru ".

Earlier in the day, the Institute of World Economics (IfW) reported that in March and April, for the first time in three years since the beginning of the conflict, the European Union (EU) provided Ukraine with more military aid than the United States. The study indicates that in March and April of this year, EU countries allocated €10.4 billion in military aid and €9.8 billion in humanitarian support.
